Apple just announced the new series of iPhone for the year 2019 and yes it’s iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, not XI or XIPro. The new phones look pretty much similar to the iPhone Xs and Xr from last year. There are 3 major highlights with the new iPhones, new camera, new colors, and A13 Bionic
The cheaper version of the phones announced today will start at $699 and it comes with 6.1-inch Liquid Retina Display. It rocks the new A13 Bionic SoC and dual cameras. A 12MP main camera, and 12MP ultrawide camera capable of 2x optical zoom.
Apple is claiming the new Neural engine on iPhone 11 allows it to perform over a trillion operations per photo. The new camera supports “semantic rendering” and “Multiscale tone mapping” both of which allows for better images after combining multiple images to one.
Night mode is similar to a feature which has been showcased a lot by Google, Huawei, and Samsung. It only makes sense for Apple to jump on the trend in computational photography and hope to make it better.
Apple may have further improved its already great video recording and stabilization. Already known to have as one of the best video recording and stabilization on any phone.
The iPhone 11 will be available in six different colors.
IPHONE 11 PRO AND PRO MAX
These come in two display sizes, a 5.8 inch and 6.5 inch Max version. They would be available in Midnight green, space gray, silver/white, and gold colors. Apple believes these new guys will have 4 to 5 hours more battery life than its predecessors and Apple finally included an 18w fast charger out of the box for the pro model.
The pro series comes with three 12MP cameras, an ultrawide, telephoto and regular. Deep fusion shoots 9 images: four short images, four secondary images before you hit the shutter, then a long exposure when you hit the button, assembles a photo with added detail and low noise.
Phone 11 Pro starts at $999, Pro Max $1099. Preorder starts today and ship on September 20th.
In the heart of the new iPhones is the new A13 Bionic SoC. The SoC is the core reasons for all the improvements on this device. Apple claims it has the fastest CPU, GPU and NPU performance on any mobile processor so far, beating even Qualcomm’s Andreno GPU.
