Infinix announced S5 and S5 lite, in what looks like an affordable camera-centric smartphone. The main S5’s comes with a quad-camera set up with a 16MP at f/1.8 aperture; a second 5MP camera; third 2MP camera and also fourth 2MP camera. In front is a high-resolution 32MP camera at f2.0 aperture.
This phone is a lot more than just cameras. It also features a large 4000mAh battery which Infinix is high on and a very large 6.6-inch HD+ display with a hole punch cutout for the camera.
It’s also an average performer. With an Helio P22 SoC, paired with a 6GB RAM and either 64GB or 128GB internal memory. And, it runs XOS 5.5 based on Android 9 Pie.
INFINIX S5 LITE
The lite variant shares a lot with the main gain version except the camera, SoC and storage. It’s now has a tri camera set up at the back and the selfie camera resolution has been reduced to 16MP. An Helio A22 SoC has replaced P22 from S5; you can get this in either a 3GB RAM/32GB ROM or 4GB RAM/64GB ROM version.
Infinix lite variants will cost between N42,500 to N46,500, while S5 will be between N 53,000 to N62,500. They will all come in Quetzal, Cyan and Violet colours.
