The Infinix Hot 8 has finally launched in Nigeria, with specifications similar to its Note series. Transsion Holdings owns both Tecno and Infinix, and its sometimes not hard to see similarities in their devices.
Just like Tecno, Camon 12 pro looks like a detuned Phantom 9. Infinix hot 8 feels alot like the note series.
This budget smartphone (Infinix Hot 8) comes as a successor to the Infinix Hot 7 that had launched last year. It boasts a new triple camera setup, a massive battery, an octa-core SoC.
The Infinix Hot 8 spot a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a massive 90.3% screen to body ratio. Hot 8’s brain is a MediaTek’s Helio P22 SoC, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage expandable with microSD card.
Its primary camera is a 13-megapixel camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A front camera is an 8-megapixel unit with an aperture rating of f/2.0 and an 81-degree field of view. The camera includes a couple of AI features to assist users to take better features.
The Infinix Hot 8 runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based XOS 5. Infinix is talking a lot about Hot 8’s phones 5000mAh battery life. It’s the largest battery on the Hot series, also of those features Note series was known for now showing up on Hot 8. The smartphone has a dedicated rear panel-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, OTG, MicroUSB and 3.5mm port.
INFINIX HOT 8 PRICE
The Infinix Hot 8 will go on sale at 12 PM on Sept. 12. Infinix Hot Pro will cost NGN 36,500 and NGN 33,900 for the Hot 8 lite. The smartphone is available in two colour options, namely Cosmic Purple and Quetzal Cyan.
