We've picked our top phones between the prices of ₦30,000 and ₦40,000 in no particular order

Smartphones are the most important gadget in the life of most people, even if you’re on a budget, you’ll probably be living with the one you buy for at least a year. A bit of research before going to a local store is recommended or you’ll easily be swayed into buying a certain product by great commercial or a convincing salesperson. We have done most of the research and handpicked the best smartphones below in no particular order between ₦30,000 and ₦40,000 you’re likely to encounter if you go shopping online or at your local store.

XIAOMI REDMI 8A (32+2)

Xiaomi has gradually won the hearts of Nigerian smartphone enthusiast, by delivering decently configured phones at a reasonable price. Although the Redmi 8A is one of the most expensive of the device on this list, it does so with the least compromise.
It has a very large battery which can last the whole day without breaking a sweat, in addition, its 18W charger is capable of recharging the battery really fast. it has very decent specs, Snapdragon 438, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory expandable via SD. Our only concern is the absence of a fingerprint scanner, this means you have to punch in that pin whenever you want to unlock the phone.
If battery life is a big deal for you and you can look past the biometric reader, you could consider this phone.

TECNO SPARK 4

You much want to consider Tecno Spark 4 a little, because we think you should. At 34,500 naira its packs a lot of punch. It’s powered by Helio A22 which is no slouch, 2GB RAM, 32 internal memory and decent 4000mAh battery. It’s a device that doesn’t absolutely win at anything but doesn’t loose and any either, and it does this at a price that leaves you with a lot of change when you leave the store.

TECNO POUVOIR 3

Another Tecno device makes our list with a different approach from Spark 4, this time Tecno trades off some performance for larger and longer-lasting battery. They manage to keep the high-resolution camera, the storage capacity, but the trade-off came with the processor.
If you’re a Tecno fan with a preference for battery life, then this is for you, but then your sure not to care so much about performance and android version.

Tecno Pop 4

Tecno Pop 4 has replaced Oppo A3s on this list, we believe Its larger battery, more recent Android 10 Go Edition, its larger internal memory and most importantly price was enough to displace the oppo. Although Oppo’s higher camera resolution and processor seems to be good enough to maintain its position on this list, Pop 4’s seem to have a lot more pros to make the cut.
You might want to look into some other devices on our list if camera resolution is of high importance to you because Pop 4 comes with a sub per 5MP back camera
